Terms of Service
Effective July 7, 2026
By using Voice Cleanup (“the Service”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
What we provide
Voice Cleanup applies AI-based noise removal to audio files you upload. You retain all rights to your audio. We claim no ownership or license over your content beyond what’s needed to run the requested cleaning.
Accounts
You sign in with email + a one-time code. You’re responsible for protecting access to the email address used. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service.
Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Plans renew automatically until canceled.
- You can cancel anytime from the customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: we offer a full refund within 14 days of your first purchase if the Service didn’t work for you. After that, refunds are at our discretion for individual cases (failed cleanings, outage credit, etc.). Contact [email protected].
- Plan quotas are measured in audio minutes per billing period. The current limits are listed on the home page; we may adjust them with at least 30 days’ notice.
Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Upload audio you don’t own or have permission to process.
- Upload content that’s illegal, harassing, or contains child sexual abuse material.
- Attempt to bypass quota limits, share accounts across multiple users, scrape the Service, or interfere with its operation.
- Use the Service to generate deepfakes intended to defame or impersonate real people without consent.
Data + privacy
See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and how it’s used. In short: your audio is auto-deleted 24 hours after processing, we never train models on it, and we don’t share it with anyone except the cloud services strictly needed to run the cleaning.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but make no uptime guarantee. We may take the Service offline for maintenance with reasonable notice when possible. We’re not liable for outages caused by third-party providers (Stripe, Supabase, PostHog, Replicate, Vercel, Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare R2, Resend) or force majeure events.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
Termination
You can stop using the Service anytime by canceling your subscription and emailing us to close your account. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice when practical.
Changes
If we materially change these terms, we’ll update the effective date and email subscribers at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
